Terry Fator’s ventriloquist and impressionist skills helped him claim the $1 million grand prize in the season finale of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” which topped the Hispanic TV ratings according to figures released by the Nielsen Media Group for the week of Aug. 20-26.

Julienne Irwin the 14 year old talent from Maryland, a finalist in this season’s NBC hit show “America’s Got Talent” will be performing the National Anthem prior to the Baysox game against the Connecticut Defenders on Monday, September 3rd at 2:05 pm.

Irwin first auditioned for “America’s Got Talent” in New York, performing LeAnn Rimes’ How Do I Live, in which the judges unanimously invited her to the Las Vegas callbacks. She eventually passed through to the semifinals with “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts and made her debut to the top ten, performing “Till I Can Make It On My Own”, by Tammy Wynette. She became one of the top four finalists on August 14 and performed “What Hurts The Most” as the judges’ pick for her and “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” as her choice.

Prior to her “America’s Got Talent” debut, Irwin never performed publicly or received any vocal lessons, aside from singing in the school choir. Irwin is an eighth grader at Harford Christian School and became the class president last year as well as a cheerleader at the school.

She was the first contestant eliminated at the final four show of “America’s Got Talent,” where she performed Teardrops on My Guitar with the famous singer Taylor Swift.

Irwin will also be singing the National Anthem prior to the Orioles vs. Red Sox game on Sunday, September 9th.
